Wiremesh Belt Conveyor

1. Wire mesh prepared by bending stainless steel or M.S. wire is used as carrying member. Generally friction drive is given in this type of conveyor. To avoid disadvantages of friction drive and increase load carrying capacity of belt, hollow pin chain is used on both edges of belt and rods are inserted in between.

These conveyors are used in industries like forging, food, pharmaceutical, chemical etc.

Medium to light sized red hot components can be handled by these type of conveyors. These conveyors are generally placed between forging press and trimming press. These are high speed conveyors.
